A customer is currently in the start of a project which aims to do data collection and reporting based on patient examinations from small departments placed all over the world.
The departments around the world differ very much in terms of infrastructure meaning that internet connection or even stabile electricity is not given, and this should be taken into account when designing the solution. Purpose of the solution is to gain evidence based data for more structured research and reporting.
A number of departments have been selected to participate to give input to the design of the system.
Your role will be to be a part of the requirement specification phase which includes a workshop and then actually designing and implementing the system. The goal is to take a starting point the existing processes in the departments, and then create a system that only require minor modifications of those processes and still give the output that creates greatest possible value.
The customer is not fixed on a specific technology, but the solution should take into account the setup in the departments, so the solution could be an MS Access solution or a simple windows client (web based is not possible).
The work can be done primarily remote and flexible, but with meetings and a workshop in Copenhagen. The project starts immediately and is expected to be 100 – 200 hours during the next 6 months. Hourly rate is negotiated individually.
Your qualifications
For this project we are looking for a consultant that has the following competencies:
• Strong skills in understanding business requirements and processes and facilitating a requirement specification process
• Great experience in designing simple and effective database systems with flexible options for reporting
